Submit a Book

Author Submission Guidelines

So you've just written a book. Congratulations! Now what? Publishers left you to the marketing? You've come to the right spot. This is a venue where you can tell the world about your new book and get your own link to your "Meet the Author" page. 

If you'd like to be a featured author, email me with the following tidbits: 

• Book title along with brief synopsis
• Release date    
• Your brief bio
• Your photo AND the book cover image
• Give us a glimpse into the book and your life by answering these 13 questions in a Q&A format OR in a compelling short story. Under 500 words is preferable if short story. 
  
  • How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
  • What was the last book you read?
  • If I were to walk into your home right now, what book would I see on your nightstand?
  • How long did it take to write your book?
  • What are the top 3 things the reader can take away from it to apply to their life?
  • Who are you top 3 favorite authors? And name an author not living you'd like to chat over dinner with?
  • Is there a certain spot - cafe, room in house, in your car, etc. - that ignites your creative juices?
  • Hardback of Paperback?
  • What organizations, if any, are close to your heart and support?
  • What is your favorite quote?
  • What's the easiest way to get into the 'flow' of writing?
  • Whose life do you think will change because of your book?
  • What inspired this book?

Reviews could take up to 3 months but maybe sooner! Contact me for special exceptions, ie to time with your book tour and signings. 

Incomplete submissions have a chance of not being reviewed. Please save me time and submit requirements in one email. All submissions will be reviewed to determine if there is a fit on BLC. I will do my best to post your feature, but cannot guarantee a spot. I will contact you if your submission gets accepted. Again, congratulations on your new book! 

Lastly, a Book Launch Cafe mention to your friends and link on your website would truly make my day.
