More important than making the right career choice, is making the right one at the right time. Understanding that authenticity in the workplace is just as important and vital to one’s career as it is in their personal life. Realizing that dealing with people effectively is a more valuable skill to have than knowing how to run any software or computer program.

Anne Brown (left) has a breadth of writing, technology and marketing experience. She is the Senior Web Producer at Sender LLC; a digital brand consultancy and design studio in Chicago, IL. She began her career as a television news writer for the NBC affiliate (WILX-10) in Lansing, MI. She has written news stories and commercials for NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX affiliates. Over the years for various web design firms her clients have included: Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Marilyn Miglin, Classified Ventures LLC, the American Bar Association, and the 2002 Olympic Greek Bobsled Team. Anne earned her B.A. in English from Michigan State University. She received her MBA from Loyola University in Chicago, where she majored in Information Systems and Marketing. Anne is an alumnus of the Executive Scholar program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
Beth Zefo works for General Motors, leading the Labor Relations and Hourly Employment team, in Atlanta, GA. During the past 10 years, she has held various positions in several functional areas throughout the auto industry including: supply chain management, supplier quality engineering, new product launch, corporate communications, and personnel. Beth graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. from the College of Engineering. She received her MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
